The Spaniard has showered praise on his midfielder’s appetite for the game and admits he will be arduous to supersede when he determinately leaves the club.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola verbalizes midfielder Yaya Toure is “like an amateur” because he dotes to play football.
The midfielder’s vocation at the Etihad Stadium appeared to be over this season after he was left out of the club’s Champions League squad and his agent Dimitri Seluk claimed Guardiola has mortified the Ivorian.
The City boss responded by insisting he would not play Toure until Seluk issued an apology, which subsequently arrived, with the 33-year-old returning to the team in November against Crystal Palace, scoring twice.
Toure has since been integrated to City’s Champions League squad and has gone on to make 15 appearances this season, and Guardiola has accoladed the player ahead of Sunday’s clash with Swansea City.
