In what is already proving to be a nightmare February for Arsenal and Arsene Wenger,
the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust has now admonished the Gunners of an absence of up to 10,000 fans on Saturday at The Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal take on Hull City.
As has become the general norm, Wenger’s side were jeered off the pitch following a 1-2 defeat to Watford afore they imploded at the Stamford Bridge against Chelsea – the second time Arsenal had lost in a week.
The 3-1 loss has resulted in widespread anger and distrust among the Arsenal faithful, the direct impact of which may well be there for all to visually perceive come Saturday. This comes just a short while after Arsene Wenger’s plea to all the Gooners to get abaft the team as other clubs’ fans do, something that has further made the fans exasperated.
Verbalizing with Standard Sport, AST’s spokesman Tim Payton verbalized of a possible protest this weekend.
